DEPENDABLE ALTERNATIVE ENERGY.
THE NEED OF THE HOUR.
Unreliable supply of electricity and drastic changes in monsoon behaviour affects water availability for cultivation. This has a great impact on 57% of total Indian population that depends on agriculture. An alternative source of energy thus becomes a boon, both to the farmer and to the nation.
Unfortunately, conventional alternative energy (Photo Voltaic Solution) for pumping water comes with inherent problems that have weakened its efficacy as a value proposition. Its inability to function at night has proven that it is not the ideal solution for the agriculture sector.
The need of the hour is a new technological breakthrough that overcomes the shortcomings of the Photo Voltaic (PV) based solution. PV technology made mostly of imported components which is a drain on our foreign currency reserves.
